Hello! Randy & I will again be taking part in JDRF's "Walk to Cure Diabetes" on Feb. 23, 2013 at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. Our team name is still "HANNAH'S HOPEFUL HEARTS."
Hannah, who is now 11 yrs. old was diagnosed with Type 1 (Juvenile Diabetes) on Dec. 3, 2008. On May 6, 2010 she went from 5-6 injections a day to the insulin pump. It has helped considerably to keep her blood sugars under contro But she still has to cope with the site changes and mood/emotional changes. The pump and the insulin in it, is her lifeline. Without the insulin she would not survive! Insulin is not a cure however and Hannah and her parents have to continue on in hopes that a cure will one day be found.
Type 1, or Juvenile Diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the #1 non-profit funder of diabetes research worldwide. One of JDRF's largest fundraiser events is the "Walk to Cure Diabetes."
Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible? Together, we can make the cure a reality!
You can make a donation in any amount online by clicking on "DONATE TO THIS WALKER" and filling out the information.
HANNAH HOPES EVERYDAY A CURE WILL BE FOUND!!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
Randy & Linda Radtke
