Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! This year, I'll be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes and team BLUE PACKAGE DELIVERY, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our nationwide goal of raising $94 million at the Mall of America.  The Minnesota walk is one of the biggest events in the country for JDRF.

Blue Package Delivery (my employer) is fortunate that we do not have any families living with Juvenile Diabetes yet our employees still choose to raise funds throughout the year in an effort to help find a cure for this disease.  Our biggest fundraiser is our Grand Masters Tri-fecta; a hunt event that I help host each year.  This past October, we raised more than $16,000!  Not bad for a small company!

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly, and can be fatal. There is some good news, though. JDRF is our best hope for finding a cure. It funds more type 1 diabetes research than any other charity worldwide and it's making progress along many promising paths toward better treatments and a cure.

Two things:  I invite you to join me and walk with our team on February 23rd and/or I am asking for your support. It is heartwarming to see the teams led by children with juvenile diabetes and all their families & friends.  Many corporate teams like  Blue Package Delivery also participate. The walk is fun; it runs from 8 am to 9 am and is very easy.  We simply walk laps around the Mall of America.  If you can't join me, please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
