I recently decided to put more of my 'volunteer energy' into finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), specifically. I joined to Young Leadership Committee (YLC), which is a part of the JDRF, as a way to connect with other young people living with T1D. Up until this point I have met maybe 1 person living with T1D so this was a pretty cool experience for me. From what I've experienced so far, this group of people are SUPER motivated and passionate about spreading awareness and raising money for research.My experience with the YLC so far has been amazing...therefore I have decided to be the Lead for the Walk this year!

I would GREATLY appreciate your support in the form of either joining the team for a morning stroll around the Mall of America on Feb 23rd or making a donation to help support those with T1D, like myself.
