Max Jahnke's Fundraising Page

    My name is Max Jahnke. I'm 7 years old and in first grade at Rush Creek Elementary School in Maple Grove.  I love playing sports - especially football, basketball and soccer.  My favorite football teams are: Vikings, Chargers, Texans, and Ravens.  I also like Jay Cutler from the Chicago Bears because he has diabetes like me.

    I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last December when I was in kindergarten.  I test my blood sugar numerous times a day and take insulin shots four times a day. 

    This is my second year participating in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes.  My entire family is participating in the walk.  We're all excited to be a part of the Nuveen team!
