Hello family and friends,
For the third year, we'll be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our goal of raising $89 million.
March 2011, I (Angie) was diagnosed with type 1, or juvenile diabetes, at the age of 28. JDRF has been a great resource helping us through this life changing diagnosis. Now, we would like to help JDRF and others with Type 1 (many who are young children) by participating in this walk.
Please join us in walking under our team name "Angie's Fleet" in St. Louis Forrest Park on Sunday, October 6, 2013 for "Our Journey to Cure Diabetes."
JDRF is our best hope for finding a cure. It funds more type 1 diabetes research than any other charity worldwide and it's making progress along many promising paths toward better treatments and a cure.
Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please give to JDRF and join Angie's Fleet in the walk? Together, we can make the cure a reality!
