THIS IS HAVEN BLODGETT'S STORY!
IT all started a week before October 8,2012 when haven became really sick with what we thought was the FLU or RSV not knowing witch it was . She went and stayed a night with her Grandma Stacey and the morning of October 8th,2012 Grandma Stacey brought her home a bout 9am to Grandma Pam and Aunt Brittany, Grandma Stacey told us Haven still was not feeling well and Haven came in and went back to sleep for awhile. Well Grandma Pam had to go to work so I "AUNT BRITTANY" had her and Haven's little Cousin Andrew "my son" . my grandma called and asked me to take her to the store witch is Haven's Great grandma, So I woke Haven up from her nap and when she got up she was not breathing right so i hurried up and took Great grandma to the store and took her home as of that i was going to take Haven to the Emergency room to get checked out well as i was saying that to great grandma I have my brother "Uncle Coady" look at haven and he asked the same ?'s i asked Haven what hurt her she said nothing at first then she pointed at her chest. My brother "Uncle Coady" said leave Andrew with me and take her to the emergancy room. We arrived a the Hospital i told the doctor and nurses what was going on and they took us back they did the FLU and RSV test they came back fine then a breathing treatment that just made her sick, they did blood work then went to chest X-RAY np sooner then we got back from X-RAY the doctor came in and told aunt Britt they were air lifting her to st.john's children's ICU because she is DIABETIC her SUGAR level was 680 and our only response from our BEAUTIFUL 3 1/2 year old little girl was open her eye slightly then they closed. I called Grandma Pam and told her she was right there at the hospital and so was Grandma Stacey and Aunt Grace we praied for our babygirl kissed her and said we would meet her is springfield the Hellicopter landed we were walking out the er doctor told me that i was lucky to have gotten there when i did because another 15 to 20 mins our baby girl could have benn in Diabetic acoma or the hardest words still for me to this day is DEAD hard knowing she was so close to being gone, Parise the big guy above for being with us that day and on because its still hard to this day. She is now a 4 year old insulin dependent smart and giving this Diadbetes its all we worry all the time whats her levels is she low is she high we need to check even when she is sleeping and when we are sleeping we sleep diabetic sleep it's always on our minds what her levlels are.
