Hi Family & Friends! Welcome to our JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Team Page for Katie's Cure Crusaders!  

We are taking steps to help JDRF achieve its goal of improving the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, better treating, & preventing T1D. By joining our Walk Team & making a donation, you will be helping us to raise funds to directly support life-changing research with the greatest potential to conquer this disease.

As many of you know, Katie is a type 1 diabetic, diagnosed 15+ years ago.  You can read her personal story here: http://www2.jdrf.org/goto/kcc1998.  Katie's Cure Crusaders was established in 1998 by several of Katie's family & friends.  Every year, we gather together to fundraise & walk in the Walk to Cure Diabetes in support of Katie & the millions of others affected with this disease.

This year is no different!  Will you accept the challenge to make a difference by walking with us?  All you need to do is click on the "Join this Team" button, make a donation, & begin fundraising.  If you can't be at the Walk, sign up as a "virtual walker" where you can still sponsor our team & fundraise for the cure!  We won't stop fighting or walking until the CURE is found - will you join us?
