Welcome to our JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Team Page!  We are taking the steps to help achieve JDRF?s mission: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. The money our JDRF Walk Team raises will go directly to support this life-changing research.

Joselynn was disagnosed on December 4th, 2007 at 3 years old.  She is now 9 years old, on an insulin pump, and has grown tremendously in her ability to manage herself.  She pricks herself, enters her carb counts and blood sugars into her pump herself, and even helps with changing out her sites.  To this date she has pricked herself approximately 16,000+ times and had approximately 570 site changes.  We have to count every carb that she consumes and account for it throughout the day with insulin boluses.  She is a tough little girl, but we don't want to see her endure this for the rest of her life.  We serve a Mighty God that can do anything.  We believe He will provide a cure through the dedicated researchers associated with the JDRF.  But it takes money.  If you can help, even just a little, it so greatly appreciated!!!

The JDRF Walk is a fantastic way to make a difference in the millions of lives of people affected by type 1 diabetes.  For at least that one day, they will look around and see all the support they have from their friends, family and community.  On Walk Day, everyone can have fun and celebrate how much closer to a cure we are because of their efforts.
