It’’s that time of year again and we are SOOOOO late in sending our email!!! We are trying to find a cure for juvenile diabetes, one donation at a time. Cassie and I have changed a lot over the years, but one very huge thing hasn’’t - …Cassie still has diabetes and struggles with this stupid disease each and every day (and so does her mom, my godmother, Marinda).
This is Cassie’s 17th year to have a walk team and her last before heading off to college! Cassie is not only the team captain for Cassie’s Care Team, but she is also the 2013 Walk Chair for the entire Winston-Salem Walk!! She wants this to be the most memorable, fun and successful walk EVER and we want to help her do that! After living with diabetes every day of her life since she was diagnosed at age one, she deserves the best walk ever and and we have the power to make it happen! Carter Millwork is a corporate sponsor this year and we would love to have support for Cassie from all of you!
On Saturday, October 26th (yes – that’s less than one week away – I told you we are late!), we will once again “Walk to Cure Diabetes.” Please send Cassie your support - no donation is too small (or big)! As I’ve said each year...…every penny counts towards a cure!
The quickest and easiest way to donate is on-line by clicking on the link to my personal page below:
http://www2.jdrf.org/goto/taylorgracecarteror go to www.jdrf.org (click on the walk link and then search for Grace Carter in NC under Donate to a Walker). You can also send your tax deductible contributions made payable to JDRF to 760 Roslyn Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
Let's help find a cure and make this the best walk ever for Cassie!!
God bless you all!!
Grace (and Lisa, Greg and Jackson)
