Hi everyone!

Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page!  I'll be taking part in this year?s Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) which just so happens to be me as of very recently.  This came on out of the blue and the crazy this is that it had nothing to do with how I was living my life; it just was an autoimmune disease that came on suddenly and will now be with me for my life. But I am going to live a nice, long and happy life with a little bit of a healthier lifestyle and a little bit of work. :D

As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D.  JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. 

We only have one life to live and I expect to live mine to the fullest!
