Welcome to our JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Team Page!  

We are taking steps to help JDRF achieve its goal of improving the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, better treating, and preventing T1D. By joining our Walk Team and making a donation, you will be helping us to raise funds to directly support research with the greatest potential to conquer this disease.

We are motivated by the courage and perseverance of those facing the everyday challenges of type 1 diabetes - they are the reason we challenge ourselves to give more, to do more, to achieve more. We challenge ourselves to make a real difference in the lives of those with T1D.

This year I will not be the Team Captain of the Bethlehem Cares team.  My new job and other commitments prevent me from giving the time needed for such a large team and important cause, but I have asked the staff at JDRF to help keep Bethlehem Cares moving forward.  Kerry Barlow, Special Events Assistant at JDRF, will be spearheading this year’s Bethlehem Cares team effort. 

Last year, Bethlehem Cares had 42 team members who raised over $13,000 for JDRF!  Over the past 13 years, our team has raised nearly $240,000!  These are exciting times for JDRF and the millions of people with T1D.  A cure is possible, but only if we continue to support JDRF research.  So, when Kerry calls on my behalf, please support her and the Bethlehem Cares team.
