Last year walking along with Gage, I asked "What do you want to do when you grow up?"
"It doesn't matter anyway. I can't do what I want." He replies with an attitude.
I immediatly ask "Why?? What is it you want to do?"
He points to his stomach and my heart sinks. Gage is a 11 year old boy that wants nothing more than to enter the military. He cannot. People ask me why I walk for a cure or raise money for a cure. This is why. No child should have their dreams shattered.
Please show support by joining our team and walking with us or making a donation to the JDRF to find a cure. Millions of children out there are suffering from this disease. Let's help them. I know my child eagerly awaits a cure.
