Hello! As most of you know I have been working for JDRF for the past four years in Philadelphia. I work with all of our corporate teams and sponsors each year for the Walk to Cure Diabetes. This year, I decided to do my part for JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes by fundraising, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our goal of raising $89 million.
Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children. One of my co-workers has T1D herself so I see how it affects her and her loved ones every single day. I want to be able to help her find a cure so she can live the longest and healthiest life possible.
There is some good news, though. JDRF is our best hope for finding a cure. It funds more T1D research than any other charity worldwide and it's making progress along many promising paths toward better treatments and a cure.
Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible? Together, we can make the cure a reality!
