I am excited to share that, once again, I will be walking in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes on Sunday, October 27th in Philadelphia, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our goal of raising $89 million to fund a cure for Type I Diabetes. Type I, or Juvenile Diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children. My nephew, Michael, is one of those children.
My personal goal for this year is $300, and I'm asking for your support over the coming weeks. I can't say this enough: even a small donation makes a huge difference. Thank you in advance for your support; it means the world to me, and to Michael.
