Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! I'll be taking part in this year?s Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). If you ask people with T1D, they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening. And they know it never goes away.
As you know, T1D hit us personally with two of our own children, Peyton (now 16, diagnosed at 10) and Kayden (now 9, diagnosed at 6) and our friend Conner Moser. In recent years we have seen first hand the challenges these children go through on a day-to-day basis. They not only endure through constant finger pricks and insulin delivery on a daily basis, but just as importantly the emotional challenges that goes with the disease has been as difficult. The little things add up, for example dealing with friends, dealing with sports, missing school more than average, and the added concern when common illness occurs that causes major spikes in blood sugars.
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you for your support!
