Thank you for visiting my JDRF Walk for a Cure Page to support my daughter, Emily - She's my #1! Who's yours?
Did you know that Emily is just 1 of 3 million Americans have Type 1 Diabetes? That is 3 million people who could not prevent their diabetes and can not cure it - without our help!
Our team, The Wild Things, will be taking part in the 2014 JDRF Walk for a Cure for Diabetes on January 25th at the Sanford Research Center. The Walk draws people together in a family friendly, healthy activity for a worthy cause while raising money to help find better treatments and a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
The Wild Things are Making Every Step Count achieve JDRF's mission: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. The money our team raises will go directly to support this life-changing research.
Now more than ever, EACH of us can make a real difference in the lives of people like Emily with Type 1 Diabetes. Please join our team, make a donation and begin fundraising. It's simple, fast and fun! Just click on the Join this Team button, become a walker - either real or virtual, make a donation and begin to pass the word on to everyone you know! It is through working together that we can make a real difference!
