HI ! EVERYONE I'M LIZZIE
This year, I'll be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our goal of raising $89 million.
Type 1, or juvenile diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children.
There is some good news, though. JDRF is our best hope for finding a cure. It funds more type 1 diabetes research than any other charity worldwide and it's making progress along many promising paths toward better treatments and a cure.
Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible? Together, we can make the cure a reality! This is a short note to all that will read this and help me raise money for JDRF juvenile diabetes research foundation. For those who don't know what it's about. I will explain this research is for people (family and friends) that are diagnosis with type 1 diabetics. This requires of the person diagnosis to check their blood sugar up to ten times a day and insulin injections 5-6 times a day. . Some of these people are very close to us and we don’t even know that they are insulin dependent. Some are even diagnosis as early as a year old and some are older. I would also like to tell you if cannot donate please join my team and walk with us on September 28th at 830am at the Bicenntinal Mall down town, you can register under my team “The Sugar Beaters” and bring your kids, there will be lots of things to do for the little ones and its going to be so much fun!!!!!
I also want to add if you can't donate please join and walk with my team so we can help the juvenile diabetes research foundation.
Thanks so much!
