Below is the email that they write for us. I left it there because it give great information about Type 1 Diabetes, also known as juvenile diabetes. But, what they can't put in there is what it is like to live with Type 1 or take care of someone who has Type 1. It is a daily challenge for me and I am not even the one that has T1D. Because I love Julia Rose deeply and I watch her every day having to manage her life in a way that is so different from other 13 year olds, I am committed to the efforts of finding a cure. As an adult my challenges will subside, however for her this is her life. I want so much for her to be free of the constant diligence that T1D requires. Please join me in walking whether in person or in spirit for a cure. Prayers coveted.
Thank you in advance for supporting me, Julia Rose, and Julia's journey.
Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! I'll be taking part in this year?s Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). If you ask people with T1D, they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening. And they know it never goes away.
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you for your support!
