I work with the West Tennessee Chapter as a personal chance to make a change. One of my good friend's has a daughter who was diagnosed with Type I diabetes when she was 18 months old.
Anytime our families get together for a meal, we have to add up the number of chips, the amount of salad, the juice, EVERYTHING that she eats and plug it into the insulin pump that she started wearing when she was only 24 months old. She pricks her finger over 10 times a day, and I'm amazed at what she goes through to keep herself healthy. Caroline is now 10 years old, and she is keeping up the fight. Will you help me end this fight???
