2012 is our family's 11th year taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach JDRF's goal of raising $89 million.
Type 1, or juvenile diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children. As you probably know, my 13 year-old niece, Ashley, has had diabetes since the tender age of 2 years old. Because of her, and all the other friends we know with diabetes, we are dedicated to finding a cure.
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you can help me make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes. Let's find a cure for diabetes in Ashley's lifetime!
Again, THANK YOU for helping us reach our Family Team Goal of $25,000! Because of your help, we are proud to show a history of giving and dedication to finding a cure:
Thank you for your support!
