Welcome to my personal JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes fundraising page! I'll be taking part in this year?s Walk to raise funds to improve the lives of all people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D). Type 1 diabetes is a tough thing to add to the daily living of a kid. Here at UW, we care for nearly 700 children, adolescents, and young adults with diabetes, all of whom hope to someday not need to poke fingers, count carbs, and give themselves insulin...but until there's a cure, that's what they must continue to do, every single day.
Research funded by JDRF has changed how people give insulin and care for their diabetes....but what they do is SO MUCH WORK for them, every single day, and it doesn't cure their diabetes.... JDRF can fund the research that finds a cure, but only with your help.
I am asking for your support. Please donate to my personal fundraising efforts. By doing so, you make a difference for millions of people living with type 1 diabetes.
Did you know that:
As the leader of the type 1 diabetes community, JDRF unifies global efforts to cure, treat and prevent T1D. JDRF will not rest until T1D is fully conquered. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible?
Thank you for your support!
