Welcome to Erin's fundraising page for our smiley Ry-Guy

Our youngest son Ryan was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes back in November 2010, one month after his 3rd birthday.

Ryan is a warrior of a battle he didn't ask to fight.

So his friends and family walk beside him encouraging him to charge forward everyday.

Diabetes goes everywhere Ryan goes and it doesn't always play fair.  It is a daily, sometimes hourly priority that cannot be overlooked.  Those who are close to Ryan know he doesn't let diabetes stop him; he is a strong, energetic, smiley 6 yr. old who loves life.  He is our daily reminder of how fragile life is and to appreciate every moment, because tomorrow isn't promised.

The research JDRF is funding is truly promising.  This combined with advancements in technology over the past decade, it is no longer a question on if there will be a cure one day; it is simply a question of how soon.  Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference.  Please give to JDRF as generously as possible.  Together, we can turn TypeOne into TypeNone.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Erin, D-Mom
