I'm Maggie Treichler and I've had diabetes since June of 2007 when I was 10 years old. It's been a bumpy ride. But I've made it through. My biggest wish in the whole wide world is that a cure can be found. If not for me then for the other hundreds of thousands of people being affected by diabetes. I'm not asking for a million dollars. But if you have $5.00 that you wouldn't mind tossing my way I would be more than thankful. Together we can end diabetes for good. For me, a cure means no more finger pricking, or pump wearing, or insulin leaking. No more Beethoven playing in the middle of tests because my pancreas needs a new battery. And no more bags of needles EVERYWHERE. So please help me and all my fellow diabetics stomp out diabetes.
