Join Eddie & the Cruisers in the Walk to Cure Diabetes

ll never forget the day that doctors diagnosed my child with type 1 diabetes (T1D). That day changed our lives forever. And that’s why I want to help my family and the millions of families like ours by walking in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes on October 5, 2014. Our participation will enable JDRF to fund research that will progressively remove the daily burden, side effects, and complications of T1D until a cure is found.

A cure for T1D hasn't been made yet, but more advancements keep coming due to the money raised by the Annual JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. Thanks to these advancements Eddie's way of managing his diabetes with insulin has improved immensely, but insulin is not a cure and does not prevent the possibility of serious complications like kidney failure, blindness, and stroke.

Please help us in supporting Eddie and all of the people affected by type 1 diabetes by visiting my personal fundraising page and making a donation. The online donation form takes just a few minutes to complete, and your gift will help so many people.

We hope that one day a cure will be made and Eddie will be able to live his life without T1D.

Thank you for your consideration and support of this cause which is very dear to my heart. Any and all donations made to our fundraising efforts mean so much to me and my family.

Very truly yours,
Marsha Nacon for my son Eddie Nacon
