As you may know, I have Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and have been living with T1D since I was 5 years old. I am committed to JDRF, the leading global organization focused on T1D research. JDRF raises funds to support research to cure, better treat, and prevent T1D.
Living with T1D has had its ups and downs and I remain hopeful that some day I will not have to wear an insulin pump, check blood sugars, experience night time low blood sugars, worry about too much insulin for exercise or not enough for meals, etc... I am grateful for the advancements in treatments, which have improved the quality of my life, as well as support from Mike, Aileen, family and friends.
This year's Walk takes place on Sunday October 5th and I'm writing for your support. Now, more than ever, you can make a real difference in my life and the lives of all people with T1D. Please either join my "Marching for Meghan" team or support me with a donation.
Your donation will count towards the team's fundraising total. In addition, please give credit to the person that asked for your support to recognize them for their efforts in creating a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
