Join me in the fight to create a world without type 1 diabetes!

My name is Sam Kruse and I have Type I Diabetes aka broken pancreas aka no insulin aka gotta shoot up aka got needles aka i get emo when my blood sugars low aka mr steal your snacks because my blood sugars low aka I love everything that I'm not supposed to eat.

As you can see from the photo above, my friends have always been great at helping me manage my diabetes (especially when it involves sticking me in the butt with needles). Believe it or not, however, I would much rather just not have diabetes. Considering I was diagnosed when I was 9 I'm a little surprised that this is the first time I'm doing something to support Type I Diabetes research.

If you feel like donating to the cause that's awesome! Personally, this is the first time I will be donating time/money (outside of what I spend on just being diabetic on a daily basis) so if you want to voice your support by texting me "diabetes you suck" etc etc that would be cool too.

If you happen to be in Chicago on October 5th and actually want to come walk with me you would win like 100 friendship points. Speaking of friendship. there will definitely be some sort of pre-walk-friendship-anti-diabetes activities happening beforehand sponsored by me.

If you hate diabetes as much as me, feel free to join my team and I will know you are with me in spirit (or literally)!
