Join the Prancing Pancreases and Beat the Bridge!!

Since I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes almost 5 years ago I have become used to having to compensate for my nonworking pancreas. I have to prick my fingers 6 - 10 times a day and have site changes every 3 days. This is where I am stuck with a large needle to insert a canula that keeps insulin dripping in my body. I have to deal with having low and high blood sugars. When I am 'high', I can't think straight, I get cranky and my head and stomach hurts. I feel terrible. 15,000 kids all over the word are getting diagnosed with type 1 daily.
