Thanks for stopping by my personal page! I appreciate you taking the time to check out Courtney's Clan and hope you can share our page with your family and friends. While we're raising money for a cure we can raise awaremess, too!
My name is Becky and I know Courtney through her mom Jen, my friend and co-worker. Jen asked me to be a co-captain and help her out with duties of the team and walk on August 2, 2014. It's been a great pleasure being a part of making a difference. And you can be a part, too! We have room for walkers, fundraisers, and donors! Will you join us?
If you haven't already, be sure to check out our main page, http://www2.jdrf.org/goto/CourtneysClan to read a letter from Courtney herself. Catch a glimpse of how life with diabetes can be at 10 years old and see what a positive attitude can do no matter what challenges life may bring!
On our main page, you can also sign up to join Courtney's Clan if you want to join us in Lansing on August 2, 2014. There is a 1 or 3 mile course and you can walk or run.
If you can't make it on August 2, you can make an online donation with a major credit card or paypal account. If you're not comfortable making your donation online that's no problem! Just let me know and we can make arrangements to take cash or check (payable to JDRF).
It is because of Courtney, and millions of others, that we formed our walk team. We want to raise money to support the research required to cure, better treat, and prevent T1D. With T1D there are no days off, and there is no cure – yet.
With your support, we will turn Type One into Type None. Thank you.
Your donation will count towards the team's fundraising total. In addition, please give credit to the person that asked for your support to recognize them for their efforts in creating a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
