Brendan has been diagnosed over a year now.I don’t like it anymore today thanI did the first day he was diagnosed. I understand more, but I don’t like it.In fact, I hate diabetes. He is so brave and great about it, but, as his mother, I am mad.
I don’t want him tohave to count every carb that goes into his mouth!
I don’t want him tohave to test his blood sugar 5-7 times a day!
I don’t want to worryif his blood sugar is getting low in the middle of the night!
I don’t’ want him to haveto carry back up carbs with him in fear he will get low!
I do want a world without Type 1 diabetes!
Please help me raise funds to assist the JDRF with their amazing research that is allowing our children to better manage their T1D!
The continued love and support we receive from all of you brings my heart joy. I cannot thank you enough. The fight is not over and losing is not an option!
