JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes is Making Footprints Around the Nation!
Walk Day Details:
Date: Saturday, May 10, 2014
Time: 8:30 a.m. Check In - 10:00 a.m. Walk Begins
Location: Brown County Fairgrounds, De Pere
Walk Day is packed with fun for the entire family. There will be plenty of food before and after the walk. We also have music, inflatables, and face painting for the kids. In addition, we host several vendors who can provide the latest information on diabetes products and JDRF services.
Fundraising for the walk is a simple and fun way to contribute towards type 1 diabetes research. We encourage all families, companies and individual walkers to begin their fundraising as soon as possible. JDRF offers a fundraising incentive prizes as well as the prestigious Golden Sneaker Award for individuals who raise over $1000.
A great way to get started is to:
1 - Register for the walk! Follow the links above to register in advance and you'll open up access to your Participant Center, which has the latest and greatest fundraising and tracking tools for your walk team.
2 - Make a donation to your own fundraising efforts (lead by example!)
3 - Email! Email! Email! Email is a great way to get in touch with your donors and the tracking system in the Participant Center makes it easy to send follow up emails, thank you emails and more.
You can mail any walk donations in advance to:
