Welcome to Team Katie Connection!

This year commemorates our 11th year as Katie Connection & what a wonderful & crazy 11 years has it been. The support of family & friends over the years has made it a little easier for Katie to handle her diabetes. Sometimes just knowing that people care is enough to make it easier to fight the battles of diabetes.

This year we are going with a volleyball theme...iDig a Cure. We are going with red shirts in honor of her school colors. We will be ordering shirts by April 3rd in order to ensure delivery before the Walk. If you would like to order one please let us know ASAP and we will get you the information. Canyou order a shirt even if you are unable to join us this year? Most definitely! Your support is greatly appreciated in whatever way works for you.

Can't join us this year? We totally understand. You can support us by ordering a team shirt, making a donation to the team or even join the team as a virtual walker & raise $ with us.

The money Katie Connecton raises will go directly to support the life-changing research Katie so desperately wants so they can find a cure.

The JDRF Walk is a fantastic way to make a difference in the millions of lives of people affected by type 1 diabetes. For at least that one day, Katie will look around and see all the support she has from her friends, family and community. On Walk Day, everyone can have fun and celebrate how much closer to a cure we are because of their efforts.
