Our Sweet, Funny, Imaginitive "Ana Bear" is now 3 1/2 years old and a proud pumper! We have faced many challeges over the past few years, the strength and courage of our "Ana Bear " inspires us to put our best foot forward in the full time job of being a pancreas each day! Every year, we walk closer to a cure while We wait!
Adriana was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on December 17th, 2010 at age 18 months after being hospitalized for Diabetic Ketoacidosis(DKA). She has been a tough cookie through her recovery and all of the new life adjustments that are neccessary to keep her healthy and happy.
Adriana is truly blessed to have such a supportive and loving group of Family and Friends behind her every step of the way. We humbly Thank You for your support, whether it is joining the walk with us, monetary, or just in spirit!
