Taking care of myself is a constant balancing act.
We are Kaleigh's Krew!
Kaleigh was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes November 23, 2008.
Kaleigh feels like she's a pin cushion, Kaleigh's mom feels the same way when she has to poke Kaleigh with needles just to keep her alive.
So we decided to do some math and figured out that since November 2008, Kaleigh has had her body poked for blood sugar checks, insulin injections, pump site changes, continuous glucose monitor changes over 19,500 times. This doesn't include the multiple IVs, lab tests, etc over the past 4 years.
Kaleigh and all the other children and adults really need your help in finding a cure for this disease!
