Diabetic Dinos

Welcome to the team page of the Diabetic Dinos! This will be our 3rd year walking to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Each member of the diabetic dinos has their own reason for walking, but the main reason for walking is me, the team captain. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 18 years and started the Diabetic Dinos 3 years ago when I decided to take matters into my own hands. With support from family and friends the Dinos have been a huge success. Each year we've been able to go above and beyond our donation goals, and each year we have more supporters and walkers! I am confident that we will be able to find a cure for this disease that affects 25.8% million people worldwide. Even if there is no cure during my lifetime we find ways to help better treat the disease. 

Please walk with us Saturday February 23rd at the Mall of America. We will be walking with other Diabetics, laughing, having a good time. :) This is about having fun with family and friends while helping a cause that affects all of us in some way or another. We would love to see you there!
