Welcome to our JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Team Page!

We have walked for many years under the name, Maddie's Marchers. This year we have a new diagnosis and a new team name. As most of our friends already know, our 16 year old daughter, Maddie, was diagnosed at age 5. Many of you have supported this important cause for many years and we so appreciate all of your donations, love, and encouragement. In November of 2011 our 13 year old son, Tate, was diagnosed as well. So we push on once again to fight to end this devastating disease for our children, and children and adults everywhere who struggle day in and day out to do the job of a pancreas from the outside in with testing, and insulin shots or pumps, everyday, all day, all night with no breaks and no rest from the constant vigilance that it requires. 

We are taking the steps to help achieve JDRF's mission: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.  The money our JDRF Walk Team raises will go directly to support this life-changing research.

The JDRF Walk is a fantastic way to make a difference in the millions of lives of people affected by type 1 diabetes.  We are asking for your support. Now more than ever, EACH of us can make a real difference in the lives of people with type 1 diabetes.
