This year, my 5th year participating in the Ride-to-Cure and I will now be riding in two events - a brand new location in Nashville followed by Death Valley.
Wow - Due to the generoisty of so many people, I am now riding in 2 JDRF Ride-to-Cure events this year. The first in Nashville on September 21 - 100 miles with over 4400' of vertical climb. The second is back to Death Valley on October 12th. Following on last year, a few of us will tack on another 130 miles and ride from Las Vegas to Death Valley first!
Your donation will help find a cure for this awful disease. I've ridden in heat, cold, rain, and even snow, but that's a small sacrifice compared to what a person living with diabetes goes through on a daily basis.
I'm asking you to help support my fundraising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will help make a difference in the lives of people with diabetes.
It is faster and easier than ever to donate. Simply click on the orange button on the right. If you prefer, you can mail your gift to me at the address listed below. Please make the check out to JDRF and include my name in the "Memo" section. 118 E Peppercorn Dr. Appleton, WI 54913-7168 Any amount, great or small, helps JDRF get closer to its goal of finding better treatments and a cure for type 1 diabetes. Ryan and I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
1500 Miles in and almost at 75%!
I hit the 1500 mile mark on my bike this morning. It was a humid ride and I felt like I was riding on flat tires. Only a month go to, I better hit the hills some more. My fundraising is almost at 75%! Thanks to many generous donors. I need $2,000 more. Please consider making a donation - all amounts are greatly appreciated.
