Fundraising for JDRF is easy, fun, and rewarding.
We provide you with support every step of the way to ask your family, friends, neighbors,
and coworkers to donate to JDRF and help create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
Here are some resources to help get you started on your fundraising:
When you fundraise for JDRF, you're changing the future for people living with T1D.
We can't thank you enough, but we can give you some great prizes to show our appreciation.
Note: Prizes are fun and exciting but if you would like to donate the value of your fundraising reward back to JDRF, and move us one step closer to a cure, you have that option. Simply do not redeem your reward.
Many employers offer matching gift programs that match their employees' charitable donations in part or in full.
Your employer's match can easily double the amount you donate to JDRF.
Some companies will even match gifts made by spouses or retired employees.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift.
Some companies will allow you to submit the request online. We will do the rest.
Don't forget to ask your donors about their employer matching gift programs!
When your donors make an online donation, they can also search our database to find their companies.
Please send donations to your chapter.
Be sure to convert cash to checks before mailing. In the memo line,
please write your name, and "cash converted to check" when applicable.
Contributions entered on this page will not count toward fundraising rewards
until they have been received by JDRF.
After the event, you may see that donations entered on this page will show as "rejected"
while we process all of the donations we received on Walk Day.
This status is only shown in your Participant Center and your donors will not see it. When rejected,
they will temporarily disappear from your public fundraising page, but will quickly be re-credited
once we complete our data processing within 10 business days.
Totals on your Facebook Fundraising page may vary from your total in your participant center. Please allow 1-2 weeks after cash and checks have been received to reflect on your Facebook Fundraising Page. Online donations should be reflected in real time.

Consider adding a new contact or import new contacts to ask for support.
You can get started by adding new contacts or importing contacts for streamlined sending and follow-up requests.
When your contacts have a first name listed, you can use the personalized greeting function when composing an email.
Why can't I change the formatting of my message?
If you pasted content into the message from another place, like Microsoft Word, then it is likely that hidden formatting copied over too. We recommend pasting content into a plain text editor, like Notepad, and then copying and pasting from there into this email to ensure there is no extra formatting. This will allow you to use the formatting functionality in the email tool.
How do I add a photo to an email?
A photo must first be hosted on a photo sharing website in order to add it to your email message. Examples include Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Shutterfly and Google. Once it is posted on that site, right-click the image and select 'Copy Image'. Then, in your email, you can right-click and select 'Paste' to add the photo to the message.
Your donation will count towards the team's fundraising total. In addition, please give credit to the person that asked for your support to recognize them for their efforts in creating a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
