Putting an end to T1D, one step at a time

Hello! Once again our family will be taking part in JDRF's One Walk to Cure Diabetes on Sunday, October 28th from 8 AM to 10 AM at the Art Museum. We are joining the over one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our total national goal of raising $80 million.

In the past 11 years, the Cohn Sisters have raised over $3 Million (yes, three million dollars!) with the generous support of our friends (wow - THANK YOU!).  Please help us by donating to our team, and helping to raise money to find a cure for diabetes. No donation is too small (or too large). This year, in honor of the 22 years that Sydney and Mackenzie have been living with T1D, we are asking our supporters to consider donating 22% more... so we can raise 22% more than ever for research!  
Type 1 diabetes, or juvenile diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children, like us. There is some good news, though. JDRF is our best hope for finding a cure. It funds more type 1 diabetes research than any other charity worldwide and it's making progress along many promising paths toward better treatments and a cure.  One of the most exciting innovations is the artificial pancreas - both of us have been in clinical trials for this new device and we can't wait for it to get FDA approval.  Without your support and the support of JDRF this would still be just a dream. JDRF is getting so much closer to a cure everyday, thanks to your help.  Most researches say that a cure can be reached within our lifetime.  But it will not be possible without your support.  

The JDRF One Walk is a fantastic way to make a difference in the millions of lives of people affected by type 1 diabetes. For at least that one day, they will look around and see all the support they have from their friends, family and community. We can tell you that this support REALLY makes a difference! On Walk Day, everyone can have fun and celebrate how much closer to a cure we are because of their efforts.
