I’m fundraising for JDRF because I believe in their vision of a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
My dad, Frank, was diagnosed in 1998 and Pop is 70 and living and a healthy life today. He walks 5 miles a day, goes hunting, and is able to enjoy his grand kids.
However, living with diabetes means there are no days off and there is no cure. I know am lucky that my dad takes care of himself, has a great doctor, educated himself about life changes, and is able to live life where sometimes you forget he is diabetic.
Yet, I know all aren't as lucky or as fortunate.
But there is hope.
Your generosity will help JDRF fund life-changing breakthroughs to remove the incredible daily burden of this disease—until it no longer exists.
Please support D.A.D.'s Day by making a donation of $1, $5, $10 or more today.
