Seven years ago, Carson was diagnosed type 1 diabetes (T1D), a terrible disease that never takes a day off. We need your donations to help us find a cure.
T1D is a chronic autoimmune disease that caused Carson's pancreas to stop producing insulin, a hormone he needs for survival. As a result, Carson has to monitor his blood sugar 24/7/365. Thanks to your donations, JDRF has advanced medical devices that save Carson's life on a regular basis, including a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump. Even with this great technology, managing T1D is a full time job.
Through it all, God has blessed us and Carson continues to do well. Carson is a sophomore in high school and recently started driving. He volunteers as a student athletic trainer for his school and has almost earned Eagle Scout. Carson continues to be our hero. Rarely does he complain or ask "why me" - not even when we have to wake him up in the middle of the night to treat his T1D.
Each year, we join with JDRF (the top organization funding T1D research) to raise money for a cure for T1D. Unfortunately, Covid-19 will once again prevent us from doing a walk - BUT we still need your donations! We greatly appreciate any amount you can afford. Please click on the "DONATE" link below.
May God continue to bless you and your family!
