It takes One Walk to fight T1D

Beau was diagnosed two days before Christmas with Type 1 Diabetes.  On his second day in the hospital, the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation gave Beau a stuffed bear named Rufus, a new bag with a book about diabetes for children and helped to make this diagnosis just a little bit easier for him to handle.

We are grateful for the comfort JDRF gave our son and want to help fund the work they do for other children like Beau in the hope that one day, there will not be a need for insulin shots or alarms going off in the middle the night.

Since 2017, there has been a 30% increase in the number of people diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and that number is expected to continue to rise.  Please help us stop this disease from effecting more children, and ease the burden on them in the mean time.
