I’m fundraising for JDRF because I believe in their vision of a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Throughout the month of December 2022, your monetary gift to JDRF will receive an extra thank you from me: a copy of my graphic novel, Chronic, in PDF format. The 162-page PDF includes a short Epilogue not available elsewhere.

Chronic is a coming-of-age ghost story, of sorts, based on my diagnosis at age 13 of Type 1 diabetes, back when dirt was new. 

I’ve tried really hard to create a story that’s not a drag—we have enough of those. Instead, it’s a story about a girl’s week-long hospital stay at what she calls “Hospital Whack-a-Doo” and the characters she meets while dealing with her diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes.
