25 Years. One Mission. One Walk.

Bob and Debbie Craft, both Jackson natives, started the Jackson Walk to Cure Diabetes in 1999 after their daughter, Maggie, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) when she was only 18 months old. Together with a core group of volunteers that includes Operations Coordinator Mike Wilson, they joined forces with JDRF in 2015 and continue to be very much involved in the JDRF One Walk Jackson! Over its 25-year history, this event has raised nearly $4 million in support of JDRF’s quest for a T1D CURE!
The JDRF One Walk is your chance to show the world that together, we can conquer type 1 diabetes (T1D). If you're living with T1D or you love someone living with T1D, you'll likely do just about anything to make life easier.
When you participate in JDRF One Walk, the money you raise will power more research, enable more advocacy, and fund more support for the 1.45 million Americans living with T1D. And, you'll have a great time doing it! That's because you'll walk with a committed community that is passionate about doing whatever it takes to live in a world without T1D.
By joining the JDRF One Walk, you'll be part of the lasting footprint we'll make for the T1D community now, and for generations to come. We can't wait for you to join us!
