What would a cure for type 1 diabetes mean for you?
"A cure for T1D would be my dream. As I was diagnosed as an 11 year old I still remember my every day life without T1D, which can bring lots of joy but overall is hard as I had my whole life mapped out. My dream is to live a life as a doctor with a big family and lots of pets but I have never seen my insulin pump beeping in that dream or being the one doctors helped medically. Overall I just do not think T1D fits with my dream so a cure to me means living the life I have always wanted."
