I'm the take steps towards a cure type.

together, let's turn type one into type none!!

Of the things I've learned in my 37 years of living with type one diabetes, I've come to know this - persistence pays off. And in the case of how life with T1D can change, persistence in pushing forward those changes is absolutely key.

And on many occasions, those changes are pushed forward by the persistence of JDRF. A great amount of the advances I’ve personally experienced (from finger-prick glucose monitors to being able to look at my phone or watch for my blood glucose level) have been the direct result of the persistence of JDRF. And JDRF continues to push for highly advanced ways to fight T1D and continues to bring change to lives of those with T1D with support groups that are more beneficial than words can describe.

The huge reason JDRF is able to be so persistent and powerful in their work? People like you with giving and kind spirits! In the years I’ve participated in the JDRF One Walk, I’ve been overwhelmed by the response to help put an end to T1D. And the response that was received last year - making it a record year for both me and the ACT1 team, raising more than $2,500 and $20,000 respectively. It truly is amazing to see such great support.

I'd love to have you join me once again or join me for the first time. Your donation, no matter the amount, will help more than you can imagine and will be appreciated more than you can know.

With all that change in mind, I ask you...Please help us change how we treat T1D. Please help us change what a T1D diagnosis means.

Please help us make the biggest change that could ever happen…Help us turn type one into type none!
