GO THE DISTANCE FOR TYPE 1 DIABETES
Join us April 28th as Team JDRF returns to participate in the Big Sur International Marathon!
The Big Sur International Marathon is a point-to-point course run on scenic CA Highway 1 from Big Sur to Carmel the last Sunday each April. Towering redwoods, crashing waves, coastal mountains and verdant pastures are featured on this bucket list course. The centerpiece of the course is the iconic Bixby Bridge, located at the halfway point of the race, where you’ll enjoy the unique site and sound of a tuxedo-wearing concert pianist playing a Yamaha AvantGuard N3 piano.
Team JDRF participants join in on the fun of the Big Sur International Marathon through miles, majestic views and most importantly moments! This is your moment to fundraise and help turn type one into type none! There’s something for everyone with race distances that include the Marathon (26.2 Miles), the 11 Miler, the 12K (7.4 Miles) and the 5K (3.1 Miles).
When you join Team JDRF, we’re committed to supporting you with personalized training and fundraising support every step of the way! Our Team JDRF participants will have an experience like no other with a fun and energetic atmosphere as participants from across the country come together to create a world without type 1 diabetes.
